SINGGAHSANA LODGE TERMS & CONDITIONS.

Please make yourselves familiar with our standard Terms and Conditions which are clearly laid out below. They are the general hostels industry standard conditions, and are applicable to all parties wishing to stay at Singgahsana Lodge .

By making a reservation into and or putting up at Singgahsana Lodge you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. GENERAL RESERVATIONS

1.1. We reserve the right to decline a booking or to refuse entry to accommodate any person(s) or group who in our opinion, are not suitable to occupy. In this case no reasons will need to be given and the contract shall be discharge without further liability on either party.

1.2. If we are prevented by any circumstances beyond our control from making the accommodation available on the day of hire commencement, and cannot provide a suitable alternative, we will refund all monies already paid, but no further liability shall be accepted.

1.3. RESERVATION POLICY

1.3.1  A ‘booking' may be held in provisional status for a period of 4 days (less if your bookings is less then 14 days to your date of arrival) in good will. A 30% (rounded up to the next Ringgit) non-refundable advanced deposit is required in order to confirm this booking (thereinafter referred to as ‘reservation'). Failure to pay the aforesaid advance non-refundable deposit will result in cancellation of the booking and we will be at liberty to release the room for sale. Should you still need the room, do rebook.

1.3.2  The non-refundable deposits can be paid by cash or cheque if you are in malaysia (bank charges on you) or credit cards (Visa or Master Card only)

 

1.4  CANCELLATION POLICY

1.4.1  OUR CANCELLATION POLICY requires at least 7 days written notice (email or fax is acceptable) of cancellation prior to your arrival date.

1.4.1.1  For cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the arrival date (at 12 noon) the deposit will be forfeited.

1.4.1.2  If you cancel within 7 days of the arrival date (at 12 noon) or fail to take up your reserved accommodation for whatever reason, you will be liable for all your room bills at Singgahsana Lodge . This charge will be on top of the advanced non-refundable deposit paid.

1.5. By giving us your credit card details you are authorising us to use this as security for your bookings, your accommodation bill, your unpaid cancellation charges (if any) and or unregistered extra guests.

 

2. ARRIVALS/DEPARTURES

2.1  Our check-in time is from 1300 hours and our check-out time is by 1100 hours.

2.2  Late check-outs may be available upon prior arrangement; please liaise with the Front Office Desk to discuss this option.

2.3  Guests are expected to check-in within 6 hours of their flight ETA. Please advise Singgahsana Lodge of any delays beyond this time.

 

3. Singgahsana Lodge PROPERTY

3.1  On check-in all guests will be provided linen and keys/smart cards. These items are the property of Singgahsana Lodge and are to be returned on check-out.

3.2 Guests are required to pay a refundable deposit of RM50.00 per bed/room. By furnishing Singgahsana Lodge with the refundable deposit, guests are agreeable that the following charges will be deducted from the refundable deposit:

3.2.1  For the lost or damaged of the following items, the charges are:-

RM20 for a room key;

RM80 for the linen;

RM20 for the access card; and

RM30 for towels

3.2.2 RM50 for smoking in non-designated areas or eviction with no refunds

3.2.3 RM50 for not keeping our toilet clean and dry or eviction with no refunds

3.2.4 RM50 for messing our linens with undesirable stuff or eviction with no refunds

3.3 Any damages, lost and or removals (of keys, smart cards, linen or fixtures and fittings) will be charged to the individual concerned, or if appropriate, the Group Leader and the same will be charged to your credit card.

3.4  The Singgahsana Lodge Management reserves their absolute right to have access to rooms for the purpose of maintenance, cleaning or any other reason deemed appropriate.

 

4. PERSONAL PROPERTY

4.1  Singgahsana Lodge does not accept liability for the death, sickness or injury to any guest or for the loss, theft or damage to any guest property however sustained or caused.

4.2 It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure that their belongings are secure at all times.

4.3  Guests are welcome to make use of the safe deposit box at the Front Office.

 

5. PETS

5.1 Sorry, pets are not permitted in Singgahsana Lodge at any time except Guide Dogs.

6. HOUSE RULES

6.1  Honeymoon Suite, Double Room and the Twin Share Room is for the maximum of 2 persons only. Family Room is for the maximum of 4 persons only. Any additional occupant may be accommodated in the same room (dependent on the size of the room) and an extra ‘bed charge' will be levied but subject to availability

6.2  It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure that his/her behaviour does not detrimentally affect the comfort or safety of other guests in the building.

6.3  We reserve the right to repossess the accommodation at any time where any damage or inappropriate behaviour has occurred. In such a case we shall not be liable to make a refund of any portion of the amount already paid.

6.4  Singgahsana Lodge Management stresses that the usage, possession, trafficking of illicit drugs is a serious offence in Malaysia , and may carry the death sentence.

6.5  Singgahsana Lodge has a strict no-smoking policy (see 3.2.2.)

6.6  In the dorm rooms, the quiet time for sleeping is from 2230 hours to 0700 hours. Out of courtesy to fellow travellers, please be very quiet if you come in late or leave early. Listening of music or radio should be with headphones.

6.7  Singgahsana Lodge subscribes to eco-friendly ideals and guests are requested to avoid waste and to be economical in their use of electricity and water. Kindly deposit any waste that cannot be avoided into the appropriate waste baskets.

6.8  Please do not store food in your rooms, these attract bugs.

6.9  DO NOT use your own sleeping bags at any time whilst at Singgahsana Lodge.

6.10  Consistent with local custom and practice all footwear MUST NOT be worn within Singgahsana Lodge and are to be left at the designated storage areas.

6.11  Guests are expected to leave their beds/rooms in a reasonable state and if not may be charge an extra cleaning fee as deemed appropriate by Management.

6.12  All bed linen is provided; you will however need to bring your own toiletries. Towels are not provided for dorm beds.

6.13  Facilities within Singgahsana Lodge are strictly for guests of Singgahsana Lodge . Access to Singgahsana Lodge is restricted only to in-house guests at all times.

 

7. Singgahsana Lodge reserves the right to amend add or delete any of the terms and conditions herein whenever appropriate without any notice whatsoever.
